Having your Pie

(And Eating it Too) 

Well, we’ve mixed metaphors a little, but this week’s post covers a powerful method for you and your staff to get a great, visual process to stay on top of work-lists, while at the same time tracking activity.

Typically, in Sugar we use dashlets and graphs to display historical events; anything from contact activity breakdowns to lead-source percentages, or any other business-item that can be mapped in the system.

But did you know that by using the drilldown feature of Sugar graphs, you are taken directly to the list underlying that particular segment of the graph?

Drilling Down:

So, imagine a Pie Chart showing calls to make today for each member of the staff. All they have to do is click on their segment, and using drilldown, be taken directly to their list. After they’ve cleared the calls, they can see the percentage of calls remaining decrease to zero.

Great for them, great for you.
Total visibility.
